I am a stay-at-home Mum of three little People. Having worked in Corporate Sales for 15 years, I decided to take some extended time to stay home when my third came along. I went from wearing suits to mainly anything that I could find that was comfortable, breathable and stretchy. Surprisingly, I struggled to find items that were made from quality materials which last with washing at a reasonable price. Larger chain stores mainly stock clothing from poor quality cotton, polyester (yuk) and often loose color and shape with only a few washes. I found myself re-buying and discarding of clothing too regularly. I realized that I was adding to a long term pollution problem for my kids future.

Pondering on this massive environmental issue, I felt that I wanted to positively contribute with solutions towards this current environmental problem….

I’ve made it my mission to better understand how natural fibers can be eco-friendly and can return to the biosphere at the end of their life. Whilst not all natural fabrics are completely environmentally friendly, they do use less water to manufacture and are treated with less chemicals.
